For the confused, MK-ULTRA 1 was originally a project created in the 1950’s to try and regulate brain activity, as far as learning different techniques on how to hold the upper hand on controlling another’s mind. MK stands for mind control (the k however is taken from the German language, Kontrolle.)
Forms of brain washing have been used in various projects throughout history. Brainwashing projects that were given millions of dollars to further explore, and others that are as simple as the advertisements put in the path of your daily lives.
Unfortunately for you, the easy manipulated and altered, you soak up the mundane, uninteresting, and blatantly boring things you’re exposed to, without question; In return, leaving no room for growth or inspiration of your own.
The materials on this blog may confuse you and make you think we are downright weird. Understandably, most people are not interested in looking at things that they are not used to and immediately shut it out without positive acknowledgement. If you are this kind of person, with no intentions of thinking outside the box, in the most polite way possible, fuck off.
In 1917, Marcel Duchamp took a used urinal, flipped it upside down, and signed it R. Mutt, calling it the fountain. Incredibly controversial, which would also make it ridiculously awesome. This obviously pissed people off. Whether he made this himself or not, he took an ordinary everyday thing, and changed it so that its normal function disappeared, with its new positioning and name; Helping people create a new thought process. Whether it was looked at as art or not, it brought force attention that sparked conversation and stirred up emotions. Opening the door to pushing the boundaries and experimenting with art's relationship with shock value.
The purpose of this, ideally, is to show the world how to think outside the box. To develop a mind control so powerful, it’s not control at all . . . Look at this site and
have the courage to be inspired and think for yourself. To dwell on this material, be able to create more, and to think about it even after you hit that tiny “X” on your computer, continuing your routines. It is said that a picture alone has the possibility to hold a thousand words. We are hoping that the pictures we share hold more than just a thousand, as well as inspiration. Maybe if you’re lucky, you will have gained a better topic of conversation, rather than status acquiring scenarios, parties, and surface value attributes.

SIDE NOTE
Feeling like one of my favorite hip-hop groups doesn’t get as much love and recognition as they really should. The underground group CunninLynguists (latest album was Oneirology, came out last May)
The mixture of talent in this group, Kno, Deacon the Villain, and newest member Natti, mesh perfectly together, creating tracks that provide satisfaction at every angle.
This group is one of if not THE best when it comes to setting up a visual. Lyrically amazing, these MCs set up each song with amazing beats, particular verses that are everything but boring, and hooks with soft vocals that you just get sucked into. CunninLynguists display great talent in intertwining rapping and singing on things like personal situations and dreams, twisted love stories and drug habits. Every song tells a tale in a manner that makes it nearly impossible to NOT enjoy their music.
Few of my favorites:
Enemies with Benefits F. Tonedeff - Love this beat, and the voice singing behind each verse. I think Tonedeff is also very under-appreciated, his quick style of rapping is unique and hypnotizing.
Seasons F. Masta Ace - Gives you a ride through hip-hop and the ups and downs in the music industry. Again with a switch up in speeds and beat in the chorus, this song is on my top 10 favorite list. Also obsessed with Masta Ace (check out his song Beautiful)
Beautiful Girl - Like the music intro, that extends over the beat through the song, Almost Jazz like. Visionary verses take you through a relationship, only to realize this love is the personification of weed.
Rich Forever
Rick Ross just dropped his mixtape Rich Forever. Overall opinion, Success.
Coming into the music game in ‘06, with Port of Miami, Ross climbed his way from a great first single to being at the top of the ‘gangsta’ rap game. Surpassing the radio hit Hustlin’ with songs like The boss, Here I am, collabo with Nelly and Avery Storm, and This is the Life ft Trey Songz. All hits that ended up on the top part of the charts.
Linking up with Miami’s well known Dj Khaled, the duo continues to place good lyrical stories over sick beats. The best part of this mixtape are the beats. The lyrics get repetitive here and there and it is hard to keep my attention through out all 22 tracks, but instrumentally, the beats are what make each song. That and the infamous grunt, Unghh.
Normally Mixtapes are half ass drops to get you stoked for the album. However in the past there have been some that change the mixtape game. Rick Ross meets the raised bar with Rich Forever. Lyrically I don’t think that he is close to touching Jay-z or Lupe Fiasco, nor close to being a musical hip-hop prodigy. But by combining the handful of great featured artists, producers and sick beats, the artist created a recipe for entertaining GOOD music.
One’s I liked:
Stay Schemin; Drake gets an opportunity to go at Common, after his release of Sweet. Beat is hot, and the lyrics are great.
Rich Forever; John Legend’s voice adds a good vibe to the song, mixed with the piano incorporated into the beat.. Fire.
Triple Beam; Love Nas, always have. Think he kills this track. The beat is awesome.

MUSIC, TAKE 1
Music is probably one of the limited things people have that is directly linked to their taste. Coinciding with mood, projecting a vibe that most things lack the power to do. I’ve recently read a quote that stated the one thing that brings people together is hatred. Well, Fuck that. The greatest uniting tool we have as a diverse world is MUSIC. To each is own, but pay attention. Turn up a Biggie CD, some Red Hot Chili Peppers, or some Jay-Z (real quick, off the top of my head) Actually listen… I have to listen to a new CD twice before hearing it. Once to feel the instrumentals, and another to hear the story between the lyrics. I’m interested in the songs that you get lost in. The ones people listen to looking for inspiration or comfort. A mixture of lyrics and beats that are so good, they spark whatever emotion and get immediately added to the iTunes favorites, repeat, play list.
